Robert Parrish. I remember Robert Parrish when he was playing Basketball at Woodlawn High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. I used to sit by the radio drinking lemonade and listen to him when he was playing basketball at Centenary College. The coach was Larry Little. I followed his career as a professional basketball player from start to finish. I'm so happy to see him in the hall of fame. It's almost like an old friend coming home.

I don't think it's fair to criticize MJ for being friendly with his opponents, as if that will spellbind them during the game. Yes, MJ's competitive drive is extraordinary, but the competitive drive of 99% of players in any pro sport is off the charts... how do you think they got there? It's not as if they would go easy on MJ during the game because they were friendly off the court. Chris Every and Martina Navratilova were close friends for much of their careers (they even practiced together sometimes, which seems insane looking at it from 2024), but it doesn't mean that they didn't go all-in against each other during matches.

I never heard of Reggie until his sister Cheryl scored 100 points in a single high school game in the early 80's. He was one of the top players in So Cal at the time and a part of a best-of-the-best All-Star team that came to my high school to practice. The team needed an extra player so I played with Reggie just this one time. I remember watching him warm up before we scrimmaged and I knew then, he was special.

Dawn's goal is to also be inducted into the Hall as a coach and she deserves that also. Shout out to my favorite female basketball player ever❤🏀
